Our Programs

Pads with a Purpose seeks to motivate and inspire young women, through the creation and discussion of individual vision boards. 

In addition, each girl receives a backpack which includes a 3-month supply of sanitary pads, health education materials and a custom journal to continue to document their thoughts and goals.

Since 2017, Pads with a Purpose has reached over 6,000 young women across Nairobi and the surrounding area.

Meaning "wake up" in Swahili, Amka is a social support and skill development program aimed at helping vulnerable young women in Kenya make the transition from high school to “life.”  

Acts of Love are small, one-time, financial contributions to fill a specific, immediate need of a person or group. A small contribution that can go a long way!

Our Pads with a Purpose program requires a steady supply of words and pictures from magazines, which the participants use to make their Vision Boards.

 Soko - or market in Swahili - is a collection of fair trade and artisan crafts direct from Africa. Items can be "purchased" via a donation to To Africa with Love.
